巴伐利亚州是德国经济实力最雄厚的地区之一和外贸最强的联邦州。汽车制造业是该州的核心产业之一。从信息和通讯技术，到生物和基因工程，乃至能源和环保技术，巴州几乎在所有的新兴技术领域都在德国乃至世界范围内处于领先的地位。该州拥有慕尼黑（州府）、纽伦堡、奥格斯堡等著名城市，西门子、奥迪、宝马、曼、EADS和阿迪达斯等国际化大公司均出自该州。此次巴伐利亚州论坛，将以“中国西部的可持续城镇化与基础设施对策”为主题，重点围绕德国的工业4.0战略、智慧城市、城市化与能效解决方案等进行详细介绍。

5. Brief Introduction

Bavaria is one of Germany’s strongest regions in economy and the strongest federal state in foreign trade. The automotive manufacturing industry is one of the state’s core industries. Bavaria is leading Germany and even the world in virtually all emerging technologies, ranging from information and communication technology, biotechnology and genetic engineering to energy and environmental protection technologies. It boasts many famous cities such as Munich (state capital), Nuremberg and Augsburg, and also headquarters of many international companies like Siemens, Audi, BMW, Mann, EADS and Adidas. Themed with “sustainable urbanization and infrastructure solutions in Western China”, the Bavaria Forum will focus on Germany’s Industry 4.0 Strategy, smart cities, urbanization and energy efficiency solutions.
