On September 24, the 2021 Pan-Pearl River Delta (PPRD) Regional Cooperation Chief Executive Joint Conference was held in Chengdu, Sichuan. Under the theme of “Deepen the Opening-up and Cooperation of the Pan-Pearl River Delta Region, Make Joint Efforts to Build New Development Landscape”, the conference was moderated by Huang Qiang, the Executive Chairman of the 2021 PPRD Regional Cooperation Chief Executive Joint Conference and Governor of the People's Government of Sichuan Province, and attended by the Chief Executives of the "9 2" PPRD members, including the Governor of the People's Government of Fujian Province, Wang Ning, who attended the conference online from Fuzhou. Vice governors (vice chairpersons) and heads of relevant government departments of the nine provinces (regions), relevant officials from Hong Kong and Macao SARs, specially invited representatives from national ministries and commissions, as well as the Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General of the Secretariat of the Conference and the heads of the liaison offices of the PPRD "9 2" members joined the meeting, while the heads of relevant departments from Fujian province attended online.
